Our open day season will start September 2025 until April 2026, every Saturday from 7 am - 12 p
We are excited to share the seasons’ beauty and open our fields to the public again to pick fresh flowers and walk through.
Please remember to bring your garden scissors and a bucket.
We grow seasonal annual flowers like Stocks, Snapdragons, Sweet peas, Nigella, Campanula Ranunculus, and Anemone in spring.
In the summer we grow Garden roses, Dahlias, Lisianthus, Celosia, Zinnia, and Scabiosa.

Our Story
Welcome to Talflorals.
Talflorals flower farm has begun its journey in 2019, by Talmira and Gert Johannes van der Westhuizen.
The farm is located in the Free State, near Bloemfontein specializes in growing annual and perennial cut flower varieties, such as roses, hydrangea, peony, ranunculus, dahlias, lisianthus, snapdragons and chrysanthemums.
Flowers are grown throughout the season in protected tunnel structures and in the open field. Weekly fresh flower arrangements are delivered to customers across Bloemfontein and surroundings.
Biological friendly methods, like Integrated Pest Management and home brewed compost solutions are applied on the farm. Irrigation and infrastructure is run on a solar energy source and rain water collection and reticulation methods are used for production of flowers.
From September to April, every Saturday morning the farm is open to public for the Flower Picking mornings, where public is offered to self pick flowers and take it home with. Open garden coffee shop is available on Saturday mornings for light meals, cake and pizza. Specialized rose and perennial nursery is open on Saturday mornings, where garden, roses, hydrangeas, clematis, peony and lavenders can be bought.
